"Youth Leadership Training (YLT) is an important part of the overall Troop 1201 leadership experience. The troop puts on this event so that the scouts may learn what's really expected of them in their positions of responsibility. They get to apply some of these skills through interaction with each other using the patrol method. They form a patrol, assign patrol leadership positions, create a patrol name, flag, and yell. For the balance of the day they work together as a patrol. We had an excellent turnout at today's YLT event and they did a great job in earning their 'Trained' patch. Please join me in congratulating these guys for a job well done. -- Scoutmaster Cliff"
