You asked for a simple way to download photos in Batch from the T1201 photo Archive Site. Here is how you do it using Firefox (skip step 1 if Firefox is already installed):

To Configure:

  1. Install Firefox on your computer if you don’t already have it installed:
    <http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/>
  2. Once Firefox is installed, start up Firefox and go to the toolbar at top and select:
    Tools -> Add-ons
  3. When the Add-ons window appears, at the bottom, click on:
    “Get Extensions”  This will take you an Add-ons Web Page.
  4. Click on the Category:
    “Downloading & File Management”
  5. At the top, Click to  "Sort By "Popularity”
  6. Look for the Add-on Named “DownloadThemAll!” and Click on it.
  7. When the DownloadThemAll page comes up, Click on “Install Now”
  8. Wait for installation to complete and Restart Firefox.

To Use:

  1. Go to the Troop 1201 archive site using Firefox (http://troop1201.dyndns.org) and click on an event to show the Thumbnail pictures of that event.
  2. Right-Click on a blank area of that screen.
  3. From the menu that pops up, select “DownloadThemAll!...”
  4. On the window that pops up:
    Click on the Folder Icon to the right of “Save Files In”
    Choose the folder where you want all your downloaded files to go into.
  5. In the “Inclusive Filters”:
    Check the box next to “Images”
  6. Click the “Start” Button.
    All the full-resolution images will be automatically downloaded to your computer four at a time.
  7. Repeat from step 1 as desired.
